Constipation affects almost all people of any age. You may have experienced this at some point in your life, where you had problems in passing hard stools. Most of the time, this affects women more than men, and is a common problem too during pregnancy or after childbirth and surgery. Infrequent bowel movements do not necessarily mean constipation since many have a normal pattern of clearing bowels three or four times a week. So, whether you pass regularly or infrequently, if the process is uncomfortable and painful because of the hard and dry stools, you can be sure that you are suffering from constipation.

There are several ways to manage this and you can choose from a wide variety of natural constipation cure.

The treatment of constipation primarily depends on the cause, duration, adn severity. However, in most cases it is enough to change your diet and lifestyle.

Some doctors may recommend over-the-counter laxatives which are by far the most common aid, but if you prefer natural constipation cure, there are a number of things that you can resort to.
