How much do you like your love handles, really? I would bet the bank that you don’t love your love handles at all. Truth be told you dislike that extra weight you carry around. It can sure be uncomfortable. If they are growing quickly they can even be itchy and painful. Thankfully there is no rule or law that says you have to keep that extra weight hanging on your body. There are multiple options available to help you deal with your love handles. There are just as many ways to lose your love handles. Keep reading to learn more!
First you have to move around. Even low impact exercise, like going for a walk around the block, can be healthy. If you are loathe to leave your house, why not invest in a treadmill? Many find that walking in front of their television helps. Another option would be to dance to some good music. Whatever you choose, just be sure to be active. Stay sedentary will not help the weight go away. Truth be told, you will just gain more weight sitting around. And your love handles getting bigger is not an options, right?

Practice proper posture. Sitting up and standing straight all day burns energy, i.e. calories. This energy requires the burning of calories. If you aren’t used to sitting up straight, proper posture can be an exercise in the beginning. In addition to helping you burn calories, practicing proper posture can help reduce the appearance of the love handles that you are carrying around. ~~It is even more so when you are walking around. Proper posture can also help you to look better. Your love handles actually look bigger when you slouch.

Keep a journal. It can be annoying to write down everything you eat and do. In the long run though, it can really help you find balance in your lifestyle. Knowing what you have eaten will help you determine how many calories you need to burn. You can also show your food journal to your doctor in the event that you aren’t losing weight by eating right and exercising. Your journal will give your doctor a better overall view of your lifestyle so he/she can determine a routine that will work for your life.

It doesn’t have to be difficult to deal with your love handles. With a few lifestyle changes, you may see them disappear completely. Of course, it will take time for this to happen so you will need to be patient while you work on your weight. Soon they will be a thing of the past though, with the proper diet and exercise plan. Just think about how good it will feel to fit into your pants correctly again!
