Alleviate Anxiety Storms With These 3 Steps

Stress and anxiety are a normal part of everyday life. Picture yourself out in public, perhaps at the movies, dinner or some other social event you’ve been looking forward to. You are having a great time when suddenly panic sets in. Your heart begins to race; You feel like you can’t breathe, you’re sweating and about to lose control. Sound familiar? You’re experiencing an unusual amount of panic and need to learn how to stop these negative, and social inhibitive feelings. If you find yourself feeling like this all the time, there may be an underlying issue that needs to be looked at in order to avoid having a major anxiety attack.

For right now I would like to suggest some simple steps one can follow temporarly until proper care for this condition may be administered by a health care professional. These are some steps one can begin doing right now.

1. Avoid products that may contain excessive amounts of caffeine. Consuming Caffeine will not help your situation. Until you speak with a health care professional, avoid cola, chocolate, coffee, energy drinks, and any other products that you feel may contain any type of stimulant or caffeine.

2. Exercise regularly. If you’re already doing this, then GREAT! If not, then I would suggest beginning some type of exercise routine. Exercise will help lower your adrenaline levels, which is one of the culprits of the attack. If you exercise and keep your body clean, your mind will respond and you will have less chance of having an attack.

3. I know this may sound cliche, but the third thing you can do is focus on the positive things in your life. Constant negativity will place a burden on your mind and increase the likelihood of an attack. The power of positive affirmations are very strong. Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between a lie and the truth.

As you can see, these are some simple steps you can use to help stop a major anxiety attack. Use these steps on a consistent basis daily, and you will see a significant reduction in your anxiety, and stress levels.
