The Mothers Act: Urgent, Important Human Rights Alert.

The psychiatrists have cooked up yet another threat to your mental health: a sinister money-making ruse that will bring a lot of pain to a lot of young families if its latest bill become US law. Please read this article and ACT to put a stop to these shenanigans NOW!

The psychiatrists are at the abuse-disguised-as-help game again!

This time mothers and their new-born children are the target via a discreditable piece of legislation being sneaked into law that will have a devastating effect on the civil liberties of all Americans, more or less from birth.

A sweeping attack on human rights disguised as government policy for all new births in the United States has just passed the House of Representatives and is now headed to the Senate.

The “Mother’s Act”,” will make it compulsory that all new mothers are screened by means of a list of subjective questions that will determine if each mother is mentally fit to take their newborn home from the hopsital. This is a very serious threat to American mothers and their children.

Under this Act, after your child is born, you can be tod that you can’t take them home because a multiple choice questionnaire wasn’t answered “correctly.” You can be placed in the position that the only way you can take your child home with you is if you or your spouse goes into treatment or on anti-depressants. And if you can’t get your child back, what happens to it then?

Anti depressants cause psychosis, delusions, and even homicidal or suicidal thoughts. This isn’t just this writer’s opinion: it is a matter of very extensive documentation.

Now, even more ominously, this bill is on a fast track: that means no public debate, no public disclosure of the broad impact of it upon our society and very little opportunity for watchdogs such as the Citizens Commission in Human Rights to warn the public of the dangers. And psychiatry does not have to produce any scientific evidence for its questionaire, interpretation of answers or resultant diagnosis. For that reason you need you to act now!

Here we have a vested interest group known as psychiatry, with an appalling record of human rights abuses, abuse of patients, fraud, and drug abuse and suicide among its own professional ranks and with an equally dreadful record of patient case failure and failures to predict human behaviour. That such a group is even given the time of day by politicians beggars belief when you consider that every area psychiatrists have presided over as self-apponted “experts” has gone into catastrophic decline. That such people are to be given the power to dream up subjective questionaires through which to detemine whether a new mother is “fit” to take her baby home with her, should engender universal outrage. The brutal truth of the matter is that psychiatry is not qualified to assess or pronounce upon the mental or emotional fitness of others. Given its past performance, it is positively dangerous to permit it to do so. .

The Melanie Blocker Stokes Mothers Act, to give it its full title, is quite simply a money-making caper for the psycho-pharmaceutical industry. It will place mothers and infants at risk of being prescribed antidepressant and other dangerous psychiatric drugs. These drugs are documented by the U.S. FDA and many other professionals and professional bodies to cause birth defects, psychosis, mania, worsening depression, suicidal and homicidal ideation. From this wrtiter’s experience in the drug rehabilitation field, psychiatric medications are WORSE in their effects upon the person than even street drugs.

And they propose to give these to young mums?

The MOTHERS Act is a federal bill named after Melanie Stokes, a woman who suffered emotional difficulties after giving birth and was subsequently prescribed a cocktail of intensely controversial psychiatric drugs including anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety, and anti-depressant drugs, before being subjected to ECT treatment. ECT (electro convuslive torture) is a particlularly barbaric practice whereby parts of the brain are intentionally damaged by electric shocks so as to “restore” a person, purportedly, to mental health. Psychiatry has been killing and maiming people for years using this method of electric shocks to the head without producing any evidence thatit has any therapeutic value at all beyond what might be expected from giving someone a head injury.

Melanie Stokes was in the mental health system, was prescribed drugs, was hospitalized, was subjected to ECT and only AFTER receiving extensive mental health “treatment” did she commit suicide. In other words, in psychiatry’s hands she got worse until she killed herself.

If that is what the mental health industry did for a new mother named Melanie Stokes – and then has the temerity to name its latest legal assualt on human rights after its victim! – how many more Melanie Stokes will be lined up for similar treatment if the new bill is allowed to become law?.

Considering psychiatry’s record and the record of the drugs they prescribe (well documented by the US FDA and international drug regulatory agencies to cause a host of adverse effects for adults AND for the unborn children of pregnant women prescribed them during pregnancy) it is incredible that yet again public outcry is required in order to get our politicians to act to defend us from such abuses.

The most common treatment for women diagnosed with postpartum depression is dangerous, mind-altering drugs, a somewhat outdated approach considering that nutritional remedies are the safe, modern “state-of-the art” option. But nutritional remedies do not present the money-making opportunities afforded by pharmaceutical poisons and are studiously ignored.

There is nothing whatever in the Mothers Act that will guarantee mothers being “screened” for postpartum depression are granted the right of “informed consent.” This, per the legal definition, means they would warned about all the risks of the proposed treatments and all the alternatives. Without that guarantee, this bill represents a clear and present danger to all mothers.

Please stand up for the rights of mothers and don’t let this bill pass: vote NO on this lethal legislation.

The Mother’s Act violates our Constitutional right to privacy and your right to liberty and it is just outright dangerous. That is why we need you to help stop this. We urgently need you to call and email each Senator on the HELP Committee and tell them you STRONGLY OPPOSE the MOTHER’S ACT and that you are OUTRAGED that there was NO public debate or disclosure on the impact this would have on our society as a whole.
