The tough everyday life and the daily grueling that we are exposed to takes a hard toll on our skin, body and mind. Everyone looks forward to nice relaxing spa treatments that will help them do away with the exhaustion. A spa treatment is designed to relieve stress, and help you relax and unwind. There are a couple of things that you can do to relieve your body and mind, plus an extra treat for your body:

Spa Treatments are designed to drain you of all the exhaustion and put a revitalizing new energy into you. In addition to spas in hotels and resorts, you can also visit a day spa and let the experts treat your body. A day spa Brisbane men and women frequent is a good option for you to visit and indulge in. With exotic massages and luxurious facials, day spas are well equipped to help you relax and unwind. In addition, these treatments offer therapeutic and beauty benefits too. Rehydrated skin, relieved muscles, and a re-energized you are only a few of the many benefits offered by a day spa.

In addition to an indulgent session in a day spa, you shouldn’t leave behind physical beauty. So if you fancy a exotic, glowing tan body, a spray tanning salon is for you. Whether you want a light golden glow or a super striking dark tan, a spray tanning Brisbane salon girls throng would be a very good choice for you. Spray tanning is easy, fast, effective, and more reliable than most other tanning methods. With a short session in a spray tanning booth can give you that strikingly exotic appearance. However there are a certain things to take care of before you head off to get your beauty spray:Spray tanning gives the best results with thoroughly exfoliated skin. Dead skin on un-exfoliated skin makes it harder for the tan to completely color you skin. With exfoliation the results are much better, with an even-toned tan, and a longer lasting color.

To make the tan last longer, you should let the tanning spray keep on your skin for at least four-five hours before taking a shower. Of course this will vary from different tanning methods and you should seek advice from the salon on the exact instructions. Everyone has different skin. So it is very natural for tanning results to vary among different people. Your friend might get a very deep tan and you just a slight golden glow, even though you followed the exact same procedure. So if your skin doesn’t develop a lot of color, you can get repeated tanning sessions and ultimately your skin will get used to the tanning spray and start retaining more color. The durability of the tan depends on your skin, the tanning solution, and the duration you stay in the tanning booth. So your tan can vary, and as your skin gets used to the tan, it will retain the color better.

How to Treat Hair Loss Naturally

Hair loss is one of the most common problems which affect almost 95% people all over the world. Hair loss is of many types but the most common type found in men is male pattern baldness or androgenic alopecia. In this article let us find out more about the causes of such baldness and the alternative treatments available to combat this condition.

Reasons For Male Pattern Baldness
The main reason for androgenic alopecia according to medical studies is the excess production of DHT in the body which when deposited to the scalp area prevents the hair follicles from extracting vital nutrients from the blood which results in weakening of hair and finally hair start to loose grip on the scalp and fall off and due to the shrunk hair follicles the possibility of new hair growth is reduced to a very minimum chance.

How To Prevent Hair from Falling
Treating hair loss is not as difficult as people think. The only thing you have to do is to bring the level of DHT in the body to its normal self. There is a prescription drug named finasteride commonly known as propecia which can reduce the level of DHT in the body but people have reported adverse side effects of its usage such as growth of breasts in men and erectile dysfunction plus this medicine has not been accepted universally.

Using Natural Herbs To Treat Hair Loss
The use of natural medicines has many benefits the first and foremost being lack of any side effects. Herbs like gotu kola and saw palmetto have the same effect as of propecia in helping lower DHT levels but they do not cause any harm to the body instead they provide vital nutrients to the scalp area thereby helping in growth of new hair. This is the reason why so many people are turning towards the use of natural medicine to stop the loss of hair.

Natural Hair Loss Treatment, Ways to Treat Hair Loss

At the age of 50 more than half of males suffer from hair loss. The most common form of it is androgenic (or androgenetic) alopecia, also known as male-pattern baldness. According to scientific research, the primary cause of male-pattern baldness is the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT.) This hormone acts on the receptors in the scalp, which leads to the hair becoming progressively thinner until it is completely gone.

Cleansing the scalp is an important task to effectively remove the impurities and dirt that clog the pores. Birch leaves and aloe are excellent skin and blood cleanser. A simple mixture of aloe vera, wheat germ oil and coconut milk can form an effective shampoo to clean the hair. This is a natural cleanser which helps in male pattern baldness.

Saw Palmetto has proved to be one of the worlds best herbs that have been admired for their magical properties to check female baldness and alopecia. Saw Palmetto is actually rich in DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) inhibiting component and hence acts as one of the most effective anti-androgen agents. Applying the saw palmetto message oil in your scalp can help you stop losing hair. DHT inhibiting component in the saw palmetto oil starts working on the follicles and hair root quickly, thereby strengthening the hair. This is how applying saw palmetto can check female baldness.

When male-pattern baldness developes, the hair constantly gets thinner and thinner until it is gone. The primary cause of it is the human hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT.) When there is too much DHT in the scalp, it binds itself to the hair follicles blocking the blood supply and preventing their growth. As time passes, the follicles, missing the necessary nutrients, shrink and the hair shaft width is decreased. As a result of this, the hair gets thinner. When the hair shaft becomes too small, no new hair can grow from the follicle.

How do we define natural hair loss product? Most hair loss treatments are based on natural ingredients. Realistically all hair loss treatments are natural since they are all made from ingredients we find in a form or another around us but for todays exercise lets consider natural hair loss product those based on natural ingredients not altered through chemical treatments.

If you are affected with hair problems like eczema, psoriasis, dandruff or seborrhea you are requested to use jojoba oil. Native Americans and Mexicans have used jojoba oil for centuries to prevent hair loss and to control dandruff. Jojoba oil works well for hypoallergenic skin, as is a good moisturizer. This is one of the best hair loss treatment products.

Aloe Vera Taken from the inner leaves of plants, it is a substance in a gel formation that is known for its ability to calm irritated skin. It protects the scalp and hair and also known as a good remedy against Alopecia.

There are natural topical treatments that may include a variety of ingredients such as vitamins including B-complex vitamins, minerals including magnesium, and herbal extracts such as Nettle Root, that are known to benefit hair loss. Natural treatments are safer because they have fewer side effects. Though natural, do not add anything to your health regimen without checking with your doctor; the reason for this is that they could affect the performance of other prescriptive medications you may be taking.

Importance of Exercise. Treat Your Body Like A Top Of The Range Sports Car

Do you think of your body the way you think of your car? When a few lucky individuals acquire a sports car that boasts of the best automotive engineering available today, watch them read the maintenance manuals religiously. They take their car for inspection even if it purrs like a kitten and take it for repairs as soon as something does not feelright. And they’re very concerned.

That car is their most prized possession, a symbol of all the long and hard hours they put on the job so they could finally acquire it. It cost an arm and a leg, so taking care of it is logically, their number 1 priority.

But how important is the person that drives that car? Shouldn’t that person – shouldn’t you – be the number 1 priority?

The average life span of men and women is 80 years, give or take a few years. The painful truth is, a significant number of men and women look and feel 80 before they even make it to the first half of their life! You spot the tell-tale signs from

their physical appearance:

sagging dry skin
unsightly posture
uneven and unsteady walk (they need to drag around those heavy pounds)
aching joints
sporting the “I’m not happy because I look terrible” look

Now, if their appearance is this bad, imagine what the inside machinery is like! Most likely, it’s even worse:

clogged vessels
inefficient heart
mounds of sugar and fat parked in or around vital organs
Conditions such as diabetes, nervous tension, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease that are silently brewing.

If fitness authorities had it their way, they’d create legislation to make exercise mandatory as soon as a baby leaves the cradle, not during the teenage years when obesity is likely to strike.

But fitness shouldn’t be associated with any age limit. You can start at 10 or at 30 – even at 50 and 60 – the idea being that fitness should not be seen as the cure for a condition that’s already come about. As the saying goes, don’t wait for illness to strike.

Brad King and Dr. Michael Schmidt in “Bio Age, Ten Steps to a Younger You” (Macmillan, Canada, 2001) have devised a questionnaire for assessing physical damage to a body as a result of no exercise. I will borrow some of their guidelines, which I will summarize here:

Start with the question, “How do I look?” Do any of these answers apply to you?

* Am I overweight, looking like an apple or pear?
* Do I have a spare tire around my waist?
* Has my skin become excessively dry, almost paper-thin?

Next, ask: “How do I feel?”

* Do my joints hurt before or after any physical exertion?
* Am I constantly worried and anxious?
* Do I feel tired and sluggish most of the time?
* Do I suffer from mood swings?

Last question, “How am I doing?”

Are simple walking and climbing stairs difficult?
* Do I have problems concentrating?
* Is running impossible for me now?
* Am I unable to sit straight, preferring to slouch or stoop my shoulders?

You’ve completed your basic assessment. Note, however, that other exercise or fitness gurus will have their own parameters or indices for assessing your body’s overall state and one isn’t better than the other.

As long as they include all dimensions of the self – physical, psychological and mental – they are as valid as the next person’s assessment charts.

After going through the assessment phase, you’re probably experiencing what some people fondly call a “rude awakening”.

If you’re not mentally prepared to accept exercise, please don’t force yourself. Just be familiar with its benefits and when you’re wholeheartedly disposed towards giving it a crack in the can, proceed slowly. “Slowly but surely” is the exercise cult’s favorite slogan.

It’s a quickie society we live in; we want everything quick – especially exercise! – and many converts would be willing to include it in their routine for the sake of health, if there were a quick way to get in, and certainly a quick to get out.

Sadly, to get lasting benefit from exercise we must expend time and energy. There is no way round this. But the benefits you will achieve in terms of improved health alone are well worth the effort!
