Stop Spending Your Money On Diets!

The Diet/Weight Loss Industry is now worth millions of dollars a year, and a lot of their profits are made up of one-time purchases from people who fail at the first stage, but then may try again. And again.

It just isn’t necessary to throw money at products that you really do not need, and where you may even throw them away if you don’t finish the course. Worse, you could make it to the finish line, get slim and then pile on the pounds again so that you have to go through all the cost and discomfort of taking up the diet plan once more.

Diet Plans are probably the most uncomfortable way of losing excess fats, especially when you spend most of your time craving for those little luxuries you love so much!

The same applies to exercising. I am not sure where I read it, but for every 10 people that join a gym, only 3 continue their membership at the end of the first year. That is just 30%, and we all know how expensive gym fees are.

But why is this the case?

  1. Attending the gym requires the right dedication to turn up at regular intervals no matter how tired, weary, lethargic, ill or wasted you feel.

  1. It is costing you not a little money to endure the pain.

  2. You have to go through a set of exercises, where normally the first ones are cardio-respiratory. In other words breathing hard! That on it’s own will generally be enough to unmake your day. And it’s hot. And you’re sweating (guys) perspiring (girls).

  3. You then go onto the weight training to get that stomach toned, and the arms, and the legs, oh, and don’t forget the shoulders whilst you are at it, otherwise you may end up looking a little odd shaped! These exercises are usually painful; make you hot (again) and breathless (again).

  4. You have finished. You shower and you head back home (maybe to cook some rabbit food), but you stop buy for a quick drink on the way home. Boom! The last 90 minutes of hurting gym exercise has just been blown out of the water! Never mind, you can do it all again tomorrow….

OK. That was just me having a little fun at all those gym aficionados expense. But it will ring a bell with a lot of people who have probably been down that road and no longer pay out for yearly membership.

So how are we going to lose the weight we need to for a healthier (and better looking!) us?

1. It is all about what and how much we eat, but we also need to be eating healthily. No ‘special’ drinks or food supplements. You will be surprised at what we really can eat and still lose that weight!

2. Exercise. Yes, but not punishing gym routines, jogging around the park or buying flat-pack home gym attachments! Very simply move around doing some of your jobs instead of sitting all the time. That is all it takes!

It shouldn’t be hard, miserable or stressful to lose the extra pounds if you get the correct weight loss advice.
