Weight Loss Goals Can Be A Reality If You Start With Your Mind

How many diets have you tried and failed? Have your weight loss goals been unreachable? Are you tired of being a prisoner in your own body? Maybe the problem lies with your unhealthy mindset.

What are your weight loss goals? A successful weight loss goals does not just happen right away. Gaining weight is easy, unless you are one of those people who wants to put on weight, but nothing you have done works. For most people, it does not take much effort to put on a few pounds. Think about every holiday when you gain a little weight, and every year it gets harder and harder to lose.

Eating food becomes a way of life, where we eat when we are famished, we eat when we are frustrated, we eat when we are joyful, we eat when we gather with buddies, our lives become centered around what we eat and drink. With all of that in mind, how do you set realistic weight loss goals? First, you need to realize that you did not get overweight in one day, and you are not going to get rid of all the weight you want in one day either. To change the way you look and feel, you need to change the way you speak.

Be honest with yourself. What kind of conversations do you have with yourself during the day. If you wrote down your thoughts, would you be amazed at how negative your thinking was? How about the words that come out of your mouth? Any negative words that come out of your mouth are detrimental to your health.

Any weight loss goal must start with changing your thinking. You need to believe you can accomplish what you are setting out to do, but you need to see yourself already there.

A builder looks at a plan and sees the completed house, and then works with that goal in mind. The dressmaker sees what the finished dress will look like before she begins, and then works towards that end. There are many such examples.

With your weight loss goal, you must see your desired end, knowing and believing that your goal is attainable. You need to start speaking your end result, not where you are at the beginning. Positive affirmations will totally change your life.

It is never too late to change your thinking. Think about the words that come out of your mouth. Once your words are spoken into the air, you can never take them back.

Write down your weight loss goals. Maybe you want to lose 25 pounds in six months. Write that down. Write down your positive affirmations. Do not use “I want” in your affirmations. That will give your mind the impression that your desire is always in the future, and that is where it will always remain.

Your subconscious mind is neutral, meaning that it will do what you say, whether good or bad. If you constantly tell yourself that you are a failure, that is what you will be. Whoever you want to be, you need to see yourself as that person, and believe that you are already that person, and that is who you will become.

With your weight loss goals, you need to see them already worked out. You need to see yourself eating the best foods. You need to see the foods that caused you to gain all that weight, as foods that you no longer desire[/spin. It will not take long before the craving for those foods will be gone.

Write your weight loss goals and affirmations in the present tense such as, “I am a winner.” “I am grateful for my weight loss.” With perseverance and speaking your affirmations authoritatively, you will be amazed at the results in your thinking.
